Cross Path Capital is a successful and growing remote based eCommerce company that has been in business for more than 8 years. In 2016 we started as resellers out of a garage in Newport Beach, CA and have since grown to a team of 8 selling over $10M of product annually. We sell our products through our 2 main brands - Barnyard Designs (Home Decor), and Seedboy (Gardening) on various channels such as Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Shopify, and Faire.

We're in search of a full time Supply Chain Manager, a crucial role in elevating our brand's presence and performance on Amazon. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in data analysis, coordination, and managing the end-to-end supply chain cycle on Amazon. If you're a self-starter, adept at steering data-informed initiatives, and possess a creative flair for overcoming market challenges - you're the candidate we're looking for.
As our Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the end-to-end functions for our entire supply chain (~200 SKUs, mainly sold through Amazon US and CA) from building forecasts, planning purchase orders with suppliers, coordinating international and domestic logistics, and reporting on and owning key inventory metrics. Your responsibility is to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness, and accuracy across our entire supply chain. This role requires a deep understanding of what it takes to run a smooth and efficient supply chain while also being able to collaborate cross functionally and with outside vendors/suppliers.

Alex’s role involved designing and executing a multi-faceted inventory management solution that seamlessly integrated Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), Third Party Warehouses (3PLs), Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD), Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), and other marketplace fulfillment solutions like Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). Alex's deep understanding of these systems enabled the creation of an efficient and cohesive strategy that ensured inventory was always in the right place at the right time.
Understanding the importance of synergy between departments, Alex worked closely with the marketing team to build and maintain SKU-level forecasts on a rolling 30-day basis. Their meticulous approach ensured that forecasts were continually refined based on actual performance, allowing the marketing team to make informed decisions on whether to push or slow down sales.
Alex’s role didn't stop at forecasting. They took charge of building purchase order recommendations and overseeing the production team in confirming and tracking orders with suppliers. Their strategic mind and organizational prowess ensured that the production and procurement schedules ran smoothly with minimal disruptions.
Shipping logistics can be a complex puzzle, but for Alex it was just another challenge to master. They always determined the optimal shipping strategy to minimize costs and delays while negotiating the best possible rates with the carrier. Their efforts in coordinating domestic transfer orders also ensured that marketplaces were always adequately stocked.
Alex’s attention to detail was evident in the management of accurate inventory counts and landed costs across the catalog. Their relentless focus on precision helped achieve a 99% accuracy rate in inventory reporting. Furthermore, they tracked, owned, and reported on critical supply chain metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability at every step.
Under Alex’s stewardship, the company displayed impressive performance metrics. They achieved 3+ inventory turns per year, maintained a 95%+ in-stock rate for top-selling SKUs, and kept warehousing/storage charges below 5% of the cost of revenue.
