Job Title: Lead Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Location: Encino, California

Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Lead Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis. As a leader in rehabilitative care, our facility specializes in providing comprehensive hand therapy services to patients in need. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with various hand injuries and conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Fabricate custom splints and orthotics as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist, specializing in hand therapy.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in hand therapy.
• Proficient in fabricating and fitting custom splints.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting patient well-being.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Advanced certification in hand therapy (CHT).
