Are you an experienced Commercial Lender looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! Our client, a leading financial institution in Detroit, is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

- Originate and service commercial loans

- Conduct interviews with applicants to assess their business needs and creditworthiness

- Make lending decisions within established authority

- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the loan process

- Provide financial advice and guidance to clients

- Operate with a high level of independence and authority

- Mentor and provide training to junior lenders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent

- 3+ years of commercial lending experience or 10+ years of banking experience

- Strong negotiation and closing skills

- Knowledge of current lending laws and regulations

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships

- Willingness to travel to meet with clients at various locations
