About the role
- The Digital Marketing Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creative design process and production management as a member of the Marketing Communications Team to support sales and marketing, public relations, strategic alliances and communications objectives within Allsup. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in graphic design as a strategic component of successful marketing, project management and production across media and digital communication channels, including print, email, video, web-desktop and web-mobile design. This individual will have superior communication skills and experience as a successful project coordinator in a fast-paced highly collaborative business environment, and work successfully with both internal and external customers and vendors.
What you'll do
- Creating and designing marketing collateral for use across all channels and media, with a primary emphasis on digital marketing, including display ads, landing pages, paid social media.
- Working with the web development team in designing for websites and social media, including graphics and infographics, branded visuals, storyboarding and video editing.
- Designing and updating client literature and marketing materials.
- Working with and supporting Marketing strategic objectives and tactics, including: email marketing, social media campaigns, websites and SEO, branding, PR initiatives, services and solution enhancements.
- Production management with external vendors.
- Assist team director(s) with budget management for projects and vendor selection.
- Ability to understand, advise and adhere to brand standards.
- Responsible for tracking own project workflow and ensuring all project delivery dates are met.
- Providing quality control over own work.
- Working with team members to deliver projects and activity against deadlines.
- Support conference and trade show production for Sales, Strategic Alliances and other teams including trade show displays, signage, promotional products and related needs.
- Support campaign reporting and program evaluation (i.e., email marketing campaigns, etc.).
- Participate in marketing strategic and creative problem solving sessions.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Online Graphic Design, Design & Marketing, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of previous graphic design and marketing experience. Strong portfolio of print and digital materials, typography, layout composition, color theory and/or other graphics
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Solid knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; and Microsoft Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Office.
- Knowledge of graphic design essentials and strategic application in sales/marketing to multiple audiences, media channels and a variety of services and solutions.
- Solid project and production management skills.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing business demands and project requests.
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to quality.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborator and team oriented to work well across all elements of the business.
- Self-starter with the ability to work well independently; able to take the lead on projects.
- Experience with content management systems, interned ads a plus.
- Working knowledge of multimedia, video and print production processes and tools (e.g., AfterEffects, Animate, Premier Pro).
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires substantial time sitting and typing, using a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Requires occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying.
- May require occasional lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs.
