Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract FOR HIRE position opening (contract term approximately 6 months) for a Network Security Engineer resource, with our public sector industry client located in Austin, TX. *This is a 100% onsite position.

*NOTE: This resource MUST be able to work on a W2 basis as s or Holders. NO C2C allowed.

Role: Network Security Engineer
Role Description:
This resource is responsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of many different pieces of network and security-related hardware and software. These include firewalls, routers, switches, various network-monitoring tools, and virtual private networks (VPNs).

Required Qualifications:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Solid experience with network protection operations including the following:
  • Administration and configuration of Palo Alto Firewall
  • Administration and configuration of Cisco ISE
  • Administration and configuration of Cisco ASA
  • 2 factor authentication
  • Administration and configuration of Microsoft PKI
  • Administration and configuration of Imperva WAF
  • Integration Duo with Palo Alto for MFA
  • Troubleshooting issue with Client and Site-to-site VPN
  • Administration and configuration Carbon Black Defense
  • Administration and configuration with Exchange Online Protection (EOP)
  • Administration and configuration QRadar SIEM
  • Administration and configuration Exterro FTK
  • Administration and Investigation with Netwrix Auditor
  • Administration and Investigation with Microsoft Defender
  • Administration and Investigation with Microsoft Purview
